If you like what we’re doing and you’d like to help, find a SeaTrash barrel near you or use any barrel at your local dock or beach to throw out trash!
If there is no barrel at your dock or beach, talk to the harbormaster or marina owner about adding one.
How We’re Helping
Plastic is the leading form of waste in the ocean. It is a pollutant that takes thousands of years to degrade and yet it still never leaves our environment. The problem with plastics in our oceans is that when it breaks down, it breaks apart into smaller and smaller pieces of plastic, never actually returning to its natural, original form. We are helping to get plastics and other trash out of the ocean to somewhere it can be disposed of properly.
